Ladacznica is a collection of illustrations started in 2015 and published in Polish. Originally it depicted everyday situations – friendly chats, love dilemmas and an occasional dark joke. The more Poland turned to the right however, Ladacznica's content became more political and the drawings started to comment on female rights, religion and censorship.
Biggest successes:
1. A cheesecake-themed drawing reached over 1M organic views.
2. A vagina-themed slogan made it to the Women's March transparents.
3. That 1 angry email sent to my employer, demanding to fire me because of the immoral content.
In addition to entertaining the fanbase the drawings were published in national newspapers and exhibited at a couple of illustration shows, including Congress of Women at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. On the flipside, intellectual property of Ladacznica was repeatedly stolen, which (sadly) impacted the creation of new content.
